Holly Perkins Meyers

Holly Perkins Meyers was born in Lufkin and graduated from Lufkin High School. She attended Sweetbriar College and The University of Texas graduating in 1978. She then attended Pepperdine University School of Law graduating in 1981. she returned home to Texas, practiced law in Houston, worked with the Attorney General of Texas in Austin, and returned to Lufkin with Charlie Meyers in 1987 where they were married and both practiced law with her Father William Drew Perkins. In 1993 she became Judge County Court at Law #2 in Angelina County and served in that capacity unopposed until she left in 2003. She and Charlie practiced law together until his demise in 2017. Two weeks later Carter, her eldest son, graduated from law school and they have practiced together ever since. Holly spearheaded the creation of CASA and Teen Court while a member of the Junior League of Lufkin. She has served on numerous boards including ADAC, CASA, FUMC, etc. He quote is “...my family has practiced law here since 1954, that’s almost 70 years; Angelina and the surrounding counties have been good to us, and it is our obligation to give back to the community where we can.”

Holly focuses on Family Law (Divorce, Child Custody, Paternity, Adoption, CPS) and Probate Law (Wills, Trusts, Probate, Estate Planning, Power of Attorneys, and Guardianships). She practices in Courthouses from Galveston to Carthage, and from Hemphill to Madisonville.

Carter Avery Meyers

Carter graduated from Lufkin High School in 2007 and the University of Texas with a B.A. in 2012 before attending South Texas College of Law, J.D. 2015. Carter and Aimee, his wife, returned home to Lufkin to practice law and educate. Carter serves East Texans by helping his clients navigate the challenges of family and elderly law and by protecting their rights in the criminal justice system.
